When I draw, I  seek to convey gesture and emotion rather than rendering the anatomy of a figure. Charcoal, pastel and conté perfectly capture  that spontaneity. Throughout my career, I have studied at various art schools, workshops,  and graduated from Cooper Union. I went on to own an internationally recognized illustrators’ representation agency for 40 years  in NYC . I now enjoy living in the Hudson Valley, spending time creating my own artwork.
